About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I AM CURRENTLY TRAVELLING IN EUROPE

Together guy, whacky at times, and still think I am fairly bright and adventurous. I intend to take this chance to travel to beautiful and interesting places. I am interested to meet new friends, share life stories with them life; and to have fun together.

My ambitions this year are to learn to ski and surf. I have already started my 'quest' by starting to ski

I am lucky to be in the position were I can experience more travel, and go to places I never previously visited. Couchsurfing is an ideal way of meeting new people and embracing other communities, thereby achieving my own objectives and hopefully sharing them with other like minded people.

I enjoy life and am a sociable person with a whacky sense of humour. Im sociable and love live music. I'm not really a party animal but I don't consider myself to be ready for the pipe and slippers yet.

I worked for many years as a Social Worker . I am concentrating on achieving a more 'fun' and less stressful lifestyle.

Ideally, I would like to couch-surf with friendly, happy, and peaceful people of all ages. .

I hold no religious beliefs and am an atheist. I wish to be as 'free' or independent as possible, this includes my thinking.

I'm not too sure what else to put apart from that I am open minded, fit and healthy but recovering from some injuries I received last year.

Peace, love, fun and ski..

Ian

PHILOSOPHY

Changing every day, but always positive and in search of the 'grin' factor

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My home is in Solihull, on the edge of the West Midlands near to Stratford on Avon ( a 30 minute train journey)

I share it with another friendly guy but he is not a couch surfer as such (yet) He is a doctor here in the UK but sees his son here most weekends so this can be a problem for having surfers on (most) weekends, however week days should be ok. I am usually available or can arrange to show you around, introduce you to people or show you just about anywhere you want to go..it is the second largest city in the UK..
