ABOUT ME

I like to travel, meet new people and make new friends!! Im a pretty easy going kind of guy. Im interested in the outdoors and outdoor activities, exploring new places and things.
I just finished my degree in Dublin, moved to San Fran for the summer as I have always wanted to check out California and thought SF was a good place to start!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Im living in a sublet so unfortunately I cant have people stay in my place at the moment as my roomies would not be too impressed.
Seen as im "fresh off the boat" I can to meet up with people that want to do look around the city area, check out some of the "tourist stuff", get a coffee, beer or head out for the evening!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This is my first time on the website so i have not had any official CS experiences, however I did surf my mates brothers couch in Canada for a week and though it was the nicest thing ever for somebody to offer their couch. I would definitely like to be able to do the same for other people that are in need of a couch or mate to hang out with while in the city

Interests

People are definitely interesting...
I like outdoor stuff that is physically demanding. Be it a hike, snowboarding, downhill biking.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like to mix my reading up, a biography then a novel then a true crime etc. I dont like particular types of books, I just read whatever people tell me is good!
I love to watch movies on my down time, true stories are always interesting so I can google the characters and get a insight into what they were really like... Comedy is cool so I dont have to be 100% focused and just be watching in the background. Thrillers are always fun!
My music taste is pretty broad. I like to go to live gigs so if there is an artist coming to town I will try to listen to them and get to know some of their tracks then hit up the gig. But at the moment im loving: The XX, Cults, Beach house, The Dodo's, Arcade Fire, Tune Yards.....and the list goes on. I also trying to get into some of the artists that are playing at Outside lands in Aug, there is a huge line up over 3 days!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Iguazu falls is probably the most spectacular thing that I have ever experienced. When they bring you right up to the falls on a boat and all that water is crashing down around you it feels pretty amazing
