ABOUT ME

I love traveling and have been doing it all my life. I have seen all different kinds of travels as well. Ask me about some of my crzy experiences, like when I walked across the United States, Jumped off the World's Highest Bungy Jump in Africa, or fell in love with children in Honduras. I love sports, music, photography, reading and writing. I am currently studying music and religion and love to talk about both topics. I love hanging out with all kinds of people of all ages. I am great with kids [five years of nannying can atest to that] and pets [I grew up with two family dogs and miss them every day now that I don't live with my parents].

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to this community so right now I'm just trying to get the word out there and let people know what a great opprotunity it is to surf.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I slept on so many couches on my walk across the United States that I cannot even remember how many I slept on. But every person that welcomed me into their home is forever a memory. I still keep in touch with some of the families and plan on going back to visit them again. I have always felt at home with these people and hope to make any surfers staying with me feel at home as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have walked across the United States for three months and then four months later I moved to South Africa to study for six months!

Teach, Learn, Share

I have lived in Iowa and Texas as well as South Africa so I can help you out in those places a lot. I have also traveled to many other states in the United States, as well as Swaziland, Honduras and soon to be Ireland, England, France, Holland and Peru. I have lived with people from all over the world including but not limited to, Ireland, Australia, Columbia, Holland, Sweden, Finland and France. So I have contacts all over the world.
