ABOUT ME

I'm positive, outgoing and sunny person. I love to travel and experience new things. I want to meet new people, see the world, and cheer up everyone's day.
I'm lucky to have fantastic boyfriend, family and friends around me. They make my life complete.
I've been growing up as a person a lot during my stay abroad. I've learned to value small things in life and I can easily laugh to my own mistakes.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I heard about CS from my roommate and actually my first CS experience was with her in Buffalo :) At the moment I can't host anyone but I'm more that glad to go for a cup of café latte!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have three CS experiences so far. I was in Boston with my roomie and I stayed in two places. The first host I shall ever forget, she was absolutely lovely and warm person and she helped us to go around the city although she had a lot of work to do. The second place we stayed was as interesting as the first place. Our host was really helpful and he totally wanted us to enjoy our stay in Boston. He showed us a gorgeous place next to his house and we ate one of the best ice creams ever!

The second CS experience was in New York City. We were really lucky to get a host straight from SoHo, every shopaholic's dream ;) The trip was amazing and our host was kind and helpful. He showed us places we wouldn't have been able to find by ourselves.

My third experience was in San Francisco and it was unique because it was the first time for me to surf alone. I was a bit nervous but for nothing. The guys who hosted me were fantastic! I stayed with them for three nights and I absolutely loved it.

Interests

I have always been doing some sports and at the moment I'm practicing to skateboard. I like to do rock climbing, biking, playing soccer, swimming and hiking. I love to spend time with my boyfriend and friends, going movies or clubs to have a good time, and have my own time every once in a while. Traveling is also my passion and I'm planning trips almost all the time. The past year has been amazing and I've been blessed to visit so many gorgeous places and meet awesome people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I played soccer in Finland's women under 21-years old national team the summer '06. That was amazing achievement for me.

My student exchange for 10 months first in USA and later in Hungary.

I can teach you some Finnish :)

I would be more that happy to go rock climbing with new friends and learn new climbing skills!
