ABOUT ME

I am Sophia a random girl from Taiwan who is outdoor,optimistic and passionate for everything, always willing to try new things.
In my opinion of travelling is like a way to find who you really are and what you really want for your life. However,travelling can be a way to escape reality but also a way to know yourself better.By far , I can't really tell which one I belong to. I think reading the culture from a book is one thing,experiencing it is something else.
Last but not the least, travelling alone but you are never alone actually.
Overall ,I feel travelling is like an addiction ,and I am insanely addicted to it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I came up the idea of traveling Europe alone in 2012 summer,however,I have to admit it my first idea of participating it is saving budget (C'mon,we all know Europe is a really pricey place for accommodation.) After that, I realized it is something much more than free accommodation.
I hosted my very first guest from China,and I really like the way of "Give and Take".

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Chennai：(2013)
This is the first time I tried doing Couchsurfing besides Europe.People think I was crazy that doing Couchsurfing in India. I did it anyways. And I stayed with a really hospitable host family.

Hamburg :(2012)
I experienced my first time Couchsurfing experience was in Hamburg.

Vejle :(2012)
And the coolest experience is when I was in Vejle,Denmark.My host,Anni and Ole,invited me to go one of their friends' birthday party,my first experience of participating birthday party abroad.

Göteborg : (2012)
I have met some really interesting people when I stayed in Göteborg,my host, Allan,who is a really interesting person I have met.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1.I have once reached the second highest mountain 3886m in Taiwan,I think it would be the coolest thing I have done so far. Afterall ,I am only a beginner,and I quit it. ;)

2.I have traveled alone for 2 months around Germany,Denmark,Sweden by Couchsurfing.

3.I traveled around some part of India alone.

4. I just considered booking the tickets going to Osaka withing 10 minutes.
