About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To work on my creative writings and get my first book inspired by Iceland underway!! Need more Icelandic details and first hand experiences so will be returning soonest :)

ABOUT ME

I am first of all, and proudest of being a Maternal Engineer for the past 21 years!! I am a friendly sort who was introduced to the world of CSing and now am totally immersed in it! Lastly, my interests lay in the possibilities of the impossible!

PHILOSOPHY

I feel that it would be in my best interests to not have any regrets when I reach 100 so I am doing IT
( the "IT"... changes each and every day) simply willing to live a life that is fully lived :) because I can :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host travellers and plan on surfing couches in the near future. Weekends, when I can get away, I surf the roads with fellow Cs travellers to points far and wide depending on the groups' wishes.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have experienced an awesome trip to Iceland, with fondest plans to return there, I have surfed the Cabot Trail with four randomly awesome unknown travellers, I have hosted a few and had fondues, streudal, Timmies, shared adventures and stories, still going strong :)

Interests

Canoeing, crafting, writing, hiking, farmers markets, geneology searches, living in the moment as oppossed to the distant future, helping others when they cross my path, learning new things, eating healthy, cat sitting, dog walking, movies with a time travel feel, National Geographic documentaries, flax seed smoothies, learning the definition of a word a day,

Music, Movies, and Books

All kinds of music, must confess cannot remember names of songs or artists, But I know what I like when I hear it! Suspense movies mostly are my thing, then British humour, the last movie I saw was Midnight in Paris which tickled my nostalgia notions and time travelling wishes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Just One???? impossible......Best thing: being a mom, watching my child become an amazing human being, I know, but I did a hell of a job with her!! Taking the credit again! other things include:a static line jump, parasailing, cave exploring, mountain hiking in Adirondacks, cake decorating, getting in the car with a full tank of gas,no map and going just because I can....adventuring! Being a couch surfer lol.

Teach, Learn, Share

my thoughts are these:
1)is that I found it helpful to thank my Higher Power every morning for yet another chance to "get it right" while in the shower. What "it" is,... changes each day,and it works for me.

2) Life is really short, make the most of it,

3) Be easy on yourself, you are human and super fragile

4) Collect awesome life experiences not possessions

5) say Thank you with a smile
