ABOUT ME

Update: My partner and I (https://www.couchsurfing.org/people/moonhalo/) just moved to a permaculture farm just outside of Tucson Az! We are learning about how to live in a sustainable (semi)self-sufficient way. We would love to make friends in the area...hit us up if you want to explore the outdoors with us!

I was traveling around Europe WWOOFing (World Wide Organization of Organic Farms) for 6 months and then became an aupair in Berlin for a year and a half. I went back to Northern California and had a fantastic summer leading outdoor trips with kids!!

I first started traveling while WWOOFing. It was wonderful learning about different cultures, different ways of healthy living and living in an environmentally friendly manner. I am interested in a healthy lifestyle and am interested in herbal and alternative medicine, organic food and gardens, and really care about the way humans impact the environment. I am enjoying emerging myself into the Berlin/German culture and language and city life and love meeting fellow like-minded travelers!

I am open and easy going, love to socialize, cook, swing dance, laugh, play music together, and have good conversation. I love the outdoors, and am truly happy when I am in beautiful places.

Music, Movies, and Books

A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle. Most inspiring and influential book, it has guided me through becoming more spiritually aware and in-tune with life and freedom.

I like a wide range of music, from electronic type stuff to blues. recently really into Balkan swing music!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A few years ago I did a vision quest with a 3 day solo in the desert. The lessons I learned through that will always stay with me.
Traveling has brought me countless of wonderful encounters of course!
