As of 2012, I have relocated to Ecuador, but I try to go back to the states to Albuquerque whenever I get a chance.

I believe in clarity and communication. I am blunt and bold, honest and straight to the point. I am open to conversation and exchange of ideas, opinions, experiences, etc. Respect is a must. I am not a mind reader nor I expect you to be one.

PHILOSOPHY

1- I say what I mean, mean what I say, and I can always show you better than I can tell you.
2- I rather slap you on the face with the truth than stab you on the back with a lie. And omission is a lie.
3- Ask what you want to know, just be ready for the answer.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I discovered this community shortly before my travels thru Panama and Ecuador in Sept/Oct 2011. I have been welcomed as a surfer by very amazing people, I have had communications via phone and email with others, and have met for coffee/drinks with some.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met with a few members who have shared their experiences with me prior to my travels thru Panama and Ecuador in 2011. I have met some wonderful and very special people while abroad with whom I stayed, for which I am grateful. My experiences with CS members have all been wonderful.

Interests

Nature, conversations with people, animals, cultures, knowledge, experience.
I live in the countryside, away from cities, on purpose. I do not care for chaos, crowds, loud noises, and stress; the things that come with city living. I like peace and quiet. Privacy is something I cherish.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: Non-Fiction with the following exceptions: "Sleeping Beauty Trilogy" by Anne Rice writing as A. N. Roquelaure (a gift) and Paulo Coelho's work.

Movies: I enjoy a variety of genres, Action, Thrillers, Romance, Drama, and Comedy, just to name a few.

Music: This will depend on my mood. From New Age (Kitaro/Enyia) to House. I am a romantic. Ballads in Spanish and 80's music are my favorite genres.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Assisted a Veterinarian in performing a C-section on a cow at age 13. The calf was dead inside and we had to perform the procedure in order to save the mother. I did not see the need to wait for the men to show up and bring her down, so I did it myself. I think I scared the vet...

As an adult, it pertains to my job. I cannot post it, but I can share with those I trust.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am respectful and mindful of house rules. I am a guest at your home, and I will behave as such. Give me your rules and I will follow them. If I can't, I will not stay with you. I have no interest in disrespecting you.
I do not drink alcohol, smoke, nor do drugs. Never have. If you do, it is your home and that is OK. Just do not ask me to participate.
