In the mountains of southern Japan i found a message painted on a tree stump. It said:

Interests

I am passionate about music, art, words, the ways that we communicate our own stories and the stories that came before.

My greatest passion is collaborating with other explorers. Two open minds improvising in the moment is a constant experiment. Keep at it and eventually terrific things will happen...

Old school funk, lowrider soul, traditional/experimental sounds from around the world, independent Hip-hop, gypsy jazz, modern classical, Indian classical, high life, old-timey, soundtracks, 60s garage rock, mysterious cognac beebop, dub, salty sailor slip jigs, cumbia, rockabilly, afrobeat, free jazz, cosmic disco, gospel, popcorn, doo-wop, calypso, circuit bent bleep bloop, mountain music, tamborito, blues, just as long as it's sincere...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived in a house of caves in Sacramonte (Granada, Spain) with a stunning view of Alhambra where the sun was so hot that sometimes the mountain lit on fire and the valley below was full of ancient stories and fruit trees.
