Music:
depending on my mood and ranging between singer/songwriter, minimal, house, drum'n'bass, dubstep, rock, funk, hip-hop (the old stuff), classic, low-fi and more

Movies:
I'm actually more into U.S. Series, that are (just listing those which are still being broadcasted) Dexter, Breaking Bad, Spartacus, Game of Thrones, Nurse Jackie, Hung, and of course the fun stuff like Futurama, South Park, Big Bang Theory et cetera.
However, a few of my favorite movies are Lord of War, Donnie Darko, The Pianist, Butterfly Effect, Matrix, Le Fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain, District 9, White Oleander, Thirteen, L.A. Crash, Fight Club, K-Pax, Hachiko (yes indeed),...

Books:
there are some favorites but I forgot nearly all the names because I give most books away when I am finished reading...
