About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Conocer a mas gente de todo el mundo

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm off on a new adventure, and I hope to meet others with curious and warm natures. Traveling alone is very rewarding sometimes, but other people can offer a fresh perspective and new spontaneity.

Interests

Adventuring! In a city with new acquaintances or on a long bus ride with old friends to explore the outdoors and small towns. I am drawn to both mountains and water.

I also love learning and speaking Spanish, practicing yoga outdoors, playing squash and other sports. I like small gatherings, late-night conversations, listening to live music, dancing, playing roadtrip games and party games.

Music, Movies, and Books

Either reggaeton or folk music, depending on the mood.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Recently: Danced my heart and soul out at a 70's Disco Drag night at club in Boston, MA. Almost got kicked out but ended up staying til the final song- Dancing Queen- holding hands in a spinning circle of old and brand new friends.

Teach, Learn, Share

T: The only words I know in Turkish: iyi geceler = "good night". The Guatemalans (and perhaps others) often say, "feliz noche", happy night instead of "buenas noches", good night. I like that, and try to remember to say it when I have the opportunity.

L: Why are the things we're scared of most often the same things that excite and attract us the most?

S: I grew up in a valley of mountains.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A yoga class! I would love to be a teacher someday, and I have a developed practice of my own that I'm happy to share.

Friendly conversation, up-for-anything attitude, and very grateful and respectful of shared space.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belize, Canada, Chile, Ecuador, France, Guatemala, Italy, Spain
