I currently live in a fruiterian raw vegan community in Ecuador, in the forest, nearby Gualaquiza/Cuenca.

You are welcome to visit us if you are vegan, or at least vegetarian since some time:

I am from Barcelona, I am now traveling in Ecuador. I like to walk, cook, yoga, meditate and chat. I have lived in the city, in the jungle, alone, with a partner, in communities, nomad, in Europe, India, Nepal, Brazil and now Ecuador. My freelance job allows me to live anywhere.

Currently I live in my car, a "Viano Marco Polo" campervan, it's so cool! :)
It has a water tank, sink, kitchen, refrigerator and heating.
I go to my office in Lausanne once per week, and the rest of the week I travel somewhere not too far
(Lausanne, Montreux, Geneva, Aigle, Zurich; sometimes a bit further: Grenoble, Strasbourg, Genoa...).

I can host you in my campervan (there are two beds, one above the other).
I am quite spontaneous and I don't know where I'll be too much in advance.
You can ping me on the last very moment, in see if we can match.
Or we can plan something one week in advance.

Currently I am living in a friend's place, and I cannot host you.
I live in Diablerets (Swiss ski-resort), and I am free to show you around, go skiing or hiking.

Also I am looking to buy and live in a campervan.

I am allergic to gluten (Celiac disease, Coeliac disease, Celiaquia), so this is a gluten-free house.

Currently I am experimenting with a strict fruit-only diet, following this live/nutritionist theory:

I'll write here some random events, rather than trying creating an auto-biography. ;)

In Feb 2015, I was wearing a traditional kurta dress in an Indian's friend of friend's wedding; I was mainly the only one wearing such a dress; the locals were in fact wearing traditional western suits, so I felt a bit like the western clown of the party! :P

I like practicing sports from time to time, such as skying, hiking, biking, running, squash and swimming. I enjoy relaxed easy hikes and more demanding ones, although the most difficult trek I did was only a two-days glacier trekking with couchsurfers at Kanderfirn, 2900m. I'd like to do more advanced trekkings. In May-June 2015 I'll be probably doing an easy 2 weeks trekking in Nepal (let me know if you want to join). I participate in running races, about 10km to 21km long. I'd like to run further distances if I could fix my leg small pain issue. In 2012 I was biking in Turkey Cappadocia for ten days with my work colleague; we got tasty food everywhere! In 2013 I traveled to Iceland, with a spectacular hike in Landmannalaugar. We have been paragliding for the whole year 2014, mainly in the Swiss Alps mountains and a 10 days stage at Tenerife (where we enjoyed drinking barraquitos every single day). In 2000, I did a ULM flight tour around Spain in ten days with my dad and mam, "La Vuelta Iberica".

I've enjoyed working in my family computer business, working as software developer in a television network, PhD in recommender systems, creating my first start-up company on Internet data extraction db4all.com, building my second start-up on a signal processing and electronic medical device for tinnitus, and coming back to software developer on Nespresso e-commerce website (where I enjoyed agile methodologies for the first time). I am currently on a sabbatical year on 2015.

The Toastmaster club provides a collaborative environment for learning public speaking. I served as president of the Toastmaster club at Switzerland EPFL.

The Masquerade Ball at Versailles palace in 2010 was amazing, walking around the gardens dressed with costumes back to the days of Louis XIV and Marie Antoinette, plus enjoying the sunset over the Grand Canal, musical fountain, fireworks spectacle and dancing at the Orangerie; An my CS host drove me to the palace in his Renault Twingo (me being dressed up as a king, that was so fun also)! I also enjoyed dressing-up as a rock star in an earlier other occasion. I'd love to participate in dress-up parties more often.

I practise acro-yoga with couchsourfers lausanne (although I stopped for a while), yoga (at yogashala lausanne, the five tibetans at home, Formentera yoga retreat with Saskia Griffiths, and soon a retreat in Thailande or around), currently trying guided meditation with headspace.com (let me know if you have a better approach), and soon thai yoga massage stage somewhere at the sunshine network.

I basically eat vegetables and fruits, although I am not a strict vegetarian nor vegan. I try to avoid meat and all types of cereals (this is a bit difficult while traveling here in India, as they use wheat and rice everywhere). Moreover, I have a real food celiac disease, which means I should not eat cereals containing gluten; so no bread, no pasta, no pizza, no beer). So, a typical lunch can be as simple as a one dish of only delicious fruits and nothing else, or only a salad with peas and onions. I eat in big quantity, though.

I am interested in social projects reconnecting humans to nature. I've participated in the lejardinpotager.ch project. I'd love to participate in a permaculture/agriculture project.

More random things: An amateur photographer made a photo book for me; I felt at easy with him, and that was a really cool experience. Once I asked my couchsurfer host to accompany me to my friend's wedding, and she accepted. how crazy is that?! Once I participated in a "dark dinning" with friends in Zurich, that was a cool experience! I have a friend who lends me his house in the Swiss mountains when he is abroad, and another friend who lends me his BMW also when abroad. How cool is that?! I collaborated exporting the Catalan "calçotada" event to Switzerland, that was so cool!

So, that's it for some randoms events of mine. I'll tell you more face to face if you share from your side also. :)
