About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to take over the world...what else should I say here?:)

ABOUT ME

Hello,

I am from Budapest, Hungary. I am a former designer, advertising and marketing professional. I love travelling and would like to see as many places as possible in the world. So far I have been to 40 countries, but it is not that number that matters.
I don't know about a nation or any culture that would not interest me.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to be as active as I can then usually I have my lazy period to digest all the actions and experience that the active period offered. I am all about people and socialising, trying out new things, food, activities, but I have my silent moments too. I love gastronomy, new cultures, design, everyday beauty. I enjoy deep conversations, but like to keep it easy too with some sarcastic sparkle.
I do believe that with effort, hard work and belief, we can do anything we want in life, though it may take some time to achieve our goals, it's only a matter of faith and patience.
I'm sure that all the people coming to our way have something to learn from us, and we have to learn from them as well, though it is never clear at first.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I found Couchsurfing kind of accidentally when travelling around the West coast of the U.S
I attended a CS event in San Francisco and met a few great people there. I have been requested to be hosted only 2 times via CS, and I have more experience with CS events, but both of these are really positive.
I find the whole couchsurfing concept exceptional and very useful for creating valuable communities and connections, so I'm trying to do my best to support it either with donating (the old version of the site had that option, before it was bought put, but that dissapeared from my pofile :/ ) or with hosting others, when I am available.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have very great experience so far, and really hope it won't change.:)
I have met so nice, superfriendly, helpful and open-minded, funny people either as hosts or as attendees on CS events, or just simply along the way.

Interests

love to travel, meeting new people and have great conversations with them, good food and wine, cooking. I adore kind, intelligent people blessed with good sense of humour. I'm keen on smart, beautiful design, exhibitions, nature, movies, reading, music etc etc.

Music, Movies, and Books

have a very mixed taste and no specific favourites, but just to list a few here's some as a top of mind:
Coelho novels, Tarantino, Woody Allen movies, liked the Matrix 1st episode too, comedy, fantasy, sometimes documentary... love Madonna, La Roux, Chemical Brothers, Moloko, Lana del Rey, Jamie Woon, Peaches, Hotel Costes, jazz and mainly every kind of music with lyrics. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Trying out couchsurfing for sure:)...I have happened to meet truly amazing people thanks to this community, who showed me places I might have never seen without them. Well, amazing things I have done? Flying with an aerobatic pilot? Does that count?:) The most remarkable so far, or maybe the freshest favourites are: The Grand Canyon from a bird's view and the composition of sealions at the San Francisco pier with the Alcatraz covered with clouds in the background.

Teach, Learn, Share

life experience:) marketing, travel tips, maybe some design/styling
