ABOUT ME

My parents think I am crazy, even my Grandma calls me nuts and everybody tries to explain that I am just wasting time...with travelling?! Since the earth is the only place most of us will ever know, I intent to experience as much of it as I can. Having some time between high school and university just happens to be a great time to start. And Canada seems to be the right place, so here I am. I am open minded, friendly and helpful if needed. I am always willing to do my share and I do not avoid work. I love nature, hiking and loneliness, but once in a while I like to dig deeper in the human and my own peculiarity :) I might be slightly crazy (don't get me started on physics or religion), but I've been assured that I am nevertheless very sociable.

PHILOSOPHY

I am now living on this tiny little college campus (can see my political theory class room from my window), so I am constantly bombarded with people's personal philosophy. I don't know if I have one. Decide for yourself if you can detect a pattern in my words and actions, I can't. I just smile at people and hope it makes them as happy as it makes me.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hoping to be able to share some of my experiences with others and learning from them even more. That'll give me the ability to host, too, when I am back home.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only had a handful of couchsurfing experiences, but those where truly great ones. Sunrises in Seattle at 5 o'clock in the morning, christmas cookie baking in Toronto, and dim sum in New York. Things that would have never happend without couchsurfing!

Interessi

Interested in new people, new sights and new experiences. Also can't go past a physics book. Exploring the physical world with physics as well as philosophical approaches hold a huge interest for me. Hoping to be able to pursue that further in the future. Also intersted in music (choir, saxophon), swimming (gave swimming lessons, voluntary work) and travelling.

Musica, film e libri

Rock'n'Roll. Definitely. Took a class on Rock'n'Roll dancing and loved it just as much as the music. At the same time I love dancing the Waltz, and after an evening of Waltz I will be humming that music. As long as I have a melody in my head or lyrics to sing, I am happy. Unfortunately that does not imply the slightest bit of musical talent :)
For books, anything goes. I simply love books, so bring a suggestion with you.

Four days on a train across Canada. The landscape, social life after three days without the possibility of showering and the thoughts after 10 hours continuous staring out of the window, is something I would do again any time

I can give you tips for your future blueberry farm, share my knowledge aber the things you never ever want to do in a hotel room - like drinking coffee. I am currently growing tomatoes and peppers in my dorm room, so any tips on miniture gardening are more than welcome. I like to bake, so please bring your favourite/native recipes. Other than that, I didn't learn what I know about blueberries because I went out looking for that kind of information. There is nothing better than learning things you didn't even know you were looking for.
