ABOUT ME

I am a widow. My wonderful husband died of cancer 14 yars ago. We met at school and I was so lucky to have such a great man who was also a loving father. We hitch-hiked all over western Europe in our teenage years and had a good life together. I love to have parties and enjoy the company of friends. Laughter is a tonic.

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live. Despite some misfortunes, I believe people are essentially good and well-meaning. There are exceptions- but bitterness or regret can twist souls so in the words of Monty Python "Always look on the bright side of life"!

I have been host to couchsurfers from
Scotland, England, Switzerland, Canada and America.
,korea,Germany,Norway, Sweden & Estonia.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

so many, Venice, The Grand Canyon, The beauty of Italy, Scotland, Ireland, Krakov and too many to mention...

But the most amazing thing was having my 4 wonderfull children,4 lovely grandaughters,amazing grandson @ great-grandson.
How lucky am I !
I now share my life with Robert who has been a dear friend for more than50 years & is also a widower.
