About Me

*****************************************************************************************
Dear Travellers!
Important for me is to receive a clear CS request from you, where I could see you have read my profile and decided to stay with ME. Requests like "Hi, I need a bed for 2 nights" I do not even respond to, which is reflected in my - pretty low - reply rate.
CS is not a free hotel nor a dating site, but a way of travel and sharing culture and experiences. This is also a very beautiful method to make friends for life.
Please respect that and make an effort.

Born and grown up in Krakow, I am recently back to this city after years of self-exil ;)
Five years of wandering passed and I am here. I got back to make sure Kraków is my place in the World, even there are still some of them waiting for me. Knowing myslef, one day I will leave again.

Thank you Kraków for raising me.
Thank you Cherbourg for the Ocean.
Thank you Morocco for the incredible six months.
Thank you Brussels for the rain.
Thank you Szczecin for the calm.
Thank you Warsaw for life lesson.
Thank you Kraków for... being Kraków.

tbc.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One day I just found it, another I logged in.
Then it started... lots of people met, lots of people still to meet.

Interests

I love everything that brings happiness to my life. Could be a book, nice view from a window (this is my home's case!), full moon, some important words read accidentally, SUN&SEA... There is a lot of things my friends, better to talk about them than list them here.

Music, Movies, and Books

I cannot live without music. I grew up in 'puro flamenco' and 'tango' mood thanks to my dad who is the real passionate and expert in tango argentino. I love both traditional and modern one as well. Also, I am in love with Vinicius de Moraes, singing women like Hindi Zahra, Lhasa de Sela, Agnes Obel.......
My another love is fado.
How many times I have already said "love" in this topic? :)
As a conclusion I can only add that I have a lot of love for the music.

Books! important part of my life.
There is no place and time enough to list all writers I like but if I have to chose some of them I would list: Cendrars
Le Clezio
Kundera
Saramago (difficult one)
TABUCCHI my last biggest love ever
Pessoa
Mendoza
Kapuscinski
Marquez
...
...

all those with that specific sense of humour and ability to see things that the others cannot see...

Movies: I ADORE Tony Gatlif's movies! also watch those of Akin, Saura, Almodovar, Medem, Amenabar, sometimes Jarmusch, Inarritu, Michalkov, Kubrick, Clapisch etc etc etc
