About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Getting to know myself, learning from my mistakes, living new experiences and feeling my life is not a waste.

ABOUT ME

Well... it's always hard to fill this spaces. I guess it's because even I don't know myself, but I'll try.
(Under construction)

PHILOSOPHY

I think life doesn't have a reason or a motive, I think it just is, and as it is, what we need to do is to gather as much experiences as we can, we need to LIVE. I don't think it's an optimistic nor pesimistic view, I see one's life as combination of good and bad experiences that write our story, by learing, by mistakeing, by feeling joy or misery. I don't want to be hipocritical saying that you have to be optimistic and blah. Sometimes you want to smile and thank everything that happens to you, but others you'll just want to kill everyone and scream or cry because of the most insignificant thing.
I try to be realistic and understanding, with people and with myself. I don't always get that lol

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live with my mom and brother, so I cannot host right now, and the days when I'll have my own flat look really far. The most I can offer is going for a drink to Barcelona, one of the most beautiful cities you'll ever see :P

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only had two experiences, but they were so wonderful I can't wait to have more and more.
First one was two years ago, when I was with two of my friends in Euskadi and were hosted by Patxi.
Second one was last year, when my best friend and I visited Prague and stayed with two different hosts during the week.
Learning from their lifestyles, their culture -even living in the same country, it changes a lot- and knowing such wonderful places were amazing experiences.

Interests

I love reading, movies, tv series and arts. I also love writing and drawing, although I'm not good at any these. Dancing, music, travelling... I guess there are too many things I like.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: LOTR, Moulin Rouge, Un long dimanche de fiançailles, Amelie, Harry Potter films, V for Vendetta, The Butterfly Effect, 300, Requiem for a Dream, A Clockwork Orange, Disney movies (The Beauty and the Beast is my favourite, but I love all of them), Jane Eyre and Romeo & Juliet by Franco Zeffirelly, Romeo + Juliet, La Leggenda del Pianista sull Oceano, Love Actually, Calendar Girls, ... and I'll write more when they come to my mind lol

Music: Almost every kind of music. Love of Lesbian, Lady Gaga, Rhapsody of Fire, Dorian, Bjork, E Nomine, Evancescence, My Chemical Romance (actually only the Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge album), Anathema, Trobar de Morte, The Pierces, Muse, The Cardigans, No Doubt, Emilie Autumn, El Niño de la Hipoteca, Amaral, La Oreja de Van Gogh, The Bangles, Phil Collins, The Beatles, Queen, Nightwish (with Tarja), Blind Guardian, Amanda Palmer, Emilie Simone, Mandragora Scream... And many more.

Books: It'll be a shorter list, not because I don't like reading as much, but because I'm more specific, I only read novels. My favourite ones are, of course, the Harry Potter serie, LOTR and the Hobbit, Ken Follet's The Pillars of the Earth and Fall of Giants, Carlos Ruiz Zafón's The Shadow of the Wind and The Angel's Game, Jane Eyre, Wuthering Heights, Edgar Allan Poe's stories, Ann Rice's Vampire Chronicles and Voices of the Pamano River by Jaume Cabré.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Of course in this website it won't be that amazing... But last summer I had my first trip with my friends, we visited Euskadi for two weeks, sleeping in the car, eating canned food, and had my first CS experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

Mmm... well I like cooking, I'm studying English, and I like arts. I don't think I'm a teacher in any of these fields, but I'll be glad to exchange opinions and point of view about them, and of course I'll love learning.
