Meeting interesting people who are okay hosting a woman with Multiple Sclerosis/uses a cane.

ABOUT ME

I eat,breathe,sleep,and doodle places to see in this world.
I live with Multiple Sclerosis,and that has only challenged me to be positive and believe nothing can stop us,but our own fears.
I have had to learn to ask others for help,and aside from travelling I love latin jazz music,nature photography,and eating very healthy and great food......except no beef,pork,or lamb.Others can have it,just not for me.
I have a cousin,retired nurse who travels with me.
This upcoming trip to Turkey and Spain in mid Sept to late October is truly special. I am not sure how much longer I will be able to make long distance trips in the future.
I am a nonsmoker,and just wish to be around very pro active positive types of people.
We all have our challenges,and some believe there is n o free will.There is however ,freedom of choice.
I choose to travel,even in the worst of times.There is so much to learn just by listening to others,and seeing how other people think and live in this world.
Life is for the living!
Age does not define me.How I treat others,does.

Finally.
I was able to host an amazing person,Ahmed from Jordan and now Houston,for the first time.
Respectful,polite,fun and so very interesting
Meeting new people,and places,the goal.
If everyone is like Ahmed,will do it again,if not travelling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well,if you count the times friends and friends of friends have let me stay in their homes,a lot.
I have stayed in Costa Rica, Panama,AU,Florida,outside of Venice Italy,Vancouver,Washington State,NYC, Georgia,Puerto Rico,and other places in the world,through a friend of a friend ect.
The 6 degree philosophy does work.

If two things are permitted:

Watching Arenal Volcano blow with a thunderous sound at night,surrounded by millions of sparkling stars.

Climbing up to the top of the Parthenon in Athens, with a full boot and cane for a fractured ankle,and realizing sometimes,it is okay to let others assist,to make your dreams come true.
