A life gourmand, haha, how does that sound? I do enjoy exploring what life has to offer, the big things and the small. Currently im working on my masters, so my time to explore the worlds out side that bubble is limited to week ends mostly. But when I have time I want to learn new things, see new places and meet new people. Like you!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now-just meeting up for concerts, hiking, visits to the mountains etcetera. Im all for meeting new people and trying new stuff!My current living situation makes is difficult to host people..but you're welcome as soon as I can. I really want to contribute to good couchsurfing Karma:) I have had so many wonderful hosts!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had my first couch surfing experience in aix-en-provence,France, the summer before I moved there. It was a very good first surf. The friend of the surfer picked me up at the train station and showed me around the city until the surfer got home. Then we all hang out at his place. I remember laughing so much it hurt and that we stayed up way past our schedule. (They had work and I an early bus to catch). I visited them both later that summer and again in fall, and one of them came to see me. We still keep in touch.

My second surf was together with a friend in Ajaccio, Corsica. We both fell in love with the Island. Our host made a great effort and showed us some of his favourite places. It was amazing. We later met up in marseille a couple times.I also hosted(inofficially) his little sister.Before returning to Sweden (after a spring in France)I made a second trip to Ajaccio. It was amazing, this time too.

Intereses

I love France. The language, the markets, the food culture... I even love the awful bureaucracy-it has its charm, somehow. I love Sweden too, you appreciate the beauty of your home country more when you've been away. I think.

I love breakfast. It could easily be the largest meal of my day. Coffee. Fruit. Sandwiches... Or what ever Im in the mood for. Or whatever is local. But nothing beats a good dinerwith friends, though.. Let's just say I really do like food.

I love sports too. Hate watching it. Love doing it. (Trying to learn american football though). Climbing, running, the gym, the pool, fitness classes, yoga, skiing, snowboardning. Name it. I would also like to learn how to surf. I just started taking kick boxing classes. I would like to be better at the sports i already know. And to spend more time in the great outdoors. Few things are better than nature.

I love talking to people. From babies to old ladies. People on the street to my very best friends. I know how to shut up too.

I love fashion.But somehow I just end up buying stuff in black,white,beige, grey and navy.

Obviously I love traveling.

I have a long list of things I would like to do. I wont write it all (its long) but it includes studying art, bungyjumping and learning a new language.

I have many interests, but Im also a nerd when it comes to medicine and science. Gets my heart beating, just like extreme sports (I just started, but I think I might be an adrenaline junkie).

Música, películas y libros

Well...i like french movies (chocker...) but i have to save my all time favorite is into the wild. I cry every time at the end. For books, a bit of everything-depending on mood and location. News and fashion magazines are probably second and third on the list of things i most often read. First place being scientific articles.

Right now house music is pumping trough my speakers. I have an amazing gig coming up so thats why. Normally i listen to alternative rock. But i mix it up. Rodrigo y gabriela, the black keys and a lot of swedish artists are some of my favorites.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Here's some of my favorite memories:

Surfing (mostly swimming) in black water, surrounded by high mountains under the moon light on corsica. I will never forget it.

Sharing a house with 6 other Swedes in southern France for the spring. The laughter, the spontaneity, all the days and evenings we had. Wonderful.

The lazy days of sun and sea by the swedish west coast. My summer house, at friends places or with family. Summer picnics, fishing crabs or learning how to steer a boat with my grand father. Those are the days i think of when shivering in the canadian cold!
