ABOUT ME

The thing that most people seem to remember about me, is that I laugh a lot, which is my main hobby. Seriously, I laugh about anything: banging my head against things, taking a real long time to get a joke, realising I learnt the wrong stuff for an exam, being soaked with rain and mud, missing the last train, eating expired food. It's just fun to laugh about one's own stupidity and clumsiness, otherwise you're just wasting your time being annoyed by yourself =D

Blahblah, I'm a fan of travelling, would be akward if I wasn't, being on couchsurfing. Anyways, I just love being in a different country, reading signs in a different language, hearing people speak the language, trying to understand just enough to get around and find my way

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Usually I love to offer my couch, but right now i'm living in a really tiny one-room appartment with my sister, so I can't really host people. But I'm planning to move sometime and then I'll party again with CSers on my couch =)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I used couchsurfing for the first time when I surfed with my sister in France. When I got back I started hosting people, and I love it! As I'm usually quite a lazy bum on my own, it's really good for me to have people around me who make me get out of my flat and do stuff =)

Interests

music, instruments, films, clambering up the hillsides near my hometown, arts and crats, daydreaming, rainy days, snowy days, sunny days, windy days, it's hard for me not to like the weather =)

Music, Movies, and Books

I like any film that is crazy and funny like Mel Brooks or Monty Python

Apart from that I don't want to bore you with a long list of every film I ever liked, so my all time favourites (apart from the mentioned above) would include Star Wars, Bridget Jones's Diary and Back To The Future =)

Here I guess I also have to mention that I love youtube videos, like Pistolshrimps, Collegehumor and any kind of other stuff that makes me laugh

Lately I started to read a lot again, mainly books by my favourite author Diana Wynne Jones, I just love the worlds she creates!

Hm... what kind of music do I like. Basically I can say, a lot, but unfortunately I can't call myself a music freak. I love Shira Kammen, Queen, Flight of the Conchords, Tenacious D, the list goes on and on... =)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can show you how to play the flute and guitar, use a gas oven, eat carrots, make vegan pancakes, origami, go for a walk, light a candle, knot bracelets and differentiate or integrate mathematical functions (extreeeemely useful skill) =)

Since I jammed with some couchsurfers, I'm keen on doing that more often, so if you can play the trombone, the clarinette, the guitar, recorder, bass guitar, flute, violin I have them all here (which doesn't mean, I can play any of them properly ^^) I'd love to learn some new things on any of these instruments!! =)
