Old CS:

Post 1000 Day Holiday Adventures :)

ABOUT ME

Currently hanging out in Newcastle Australia... Its Business Time.
--
I finished my 1000 Day Holiday 10/2008. Then moved to Vancouver for 10 months. Finally home again, a total of 1400 Days later.

Im now back in the 'normal life' building a business to enable further travel :)

All about me:
Eternally Positive.
I like dancing funny.
I am a total foodie.
I like to say 'why not' to travel proposals.
Chilli sauce can save any food thats mediocre.

I love the outdoors and getting the blood pumping.
Skydiving, Snowboarding, Rock/Ice Climbing, Kitesurfing. I'll give anything a go. Really!

While I was travelling I collected alternative souvenirs.

A Swimming pool!

A heart shaped frying pan. Great for mini pancakes or eggs.

Calculator Watch. yes they still exist!. They are so good when youre stuck thinking in 1 currency which was 2 countries ago.

A travel Hulahoop

Heel Roller skates that strap onto any shoes, and the wheels light up when spinning!

A skipping rope, more useful than a towel in Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy...

A Japanese Emergency fire escape plastic bag. Instructions for use: open bag and wave it to fill with air. put it over your head, then run thru the smoke and flames. Not sure how melt proof it is. Hope I never need it!

Chilli Sauce X3. This has saved the day so many times. Turns average/bad food into a manageably tasty morsel.

A Mongolian Disco Lights Baby Pacifier/dummy. ( Im suspecting chinese made)

A large adjustable spanner/wrench - nuts and bolts are everywhere.. you just never know!

Dutch Clogs ( the foam ones)

A Tigger travel towel

Others still to find: a frizbee, some form of burning man outfits...

Apparently Im:
More trusting, Less Old fashioned, and less spiritual than the average.

Random things I was carrying but somehow lost:

Travel Hula Hoop V1, and V2.

Wish I bought it but didn't: DOH!
a beach ball (inflatable plastic ball) that was a globe aka map of earth...

--
I don't do stress.
Im very easy going, love to have a laugh, explore and find the randomness in life.

PHILOSOPHY

Be good, and hopefully others be good too.
Theres no point being negative.
Believe in the human spirit.

Experiences: If you want to do it, Do it. No questions. Life is short and you dont know if the opportunity will come again.

Never wear Fisherman Pants or Crocs. :)

LAST.fm: A cheeky peek at what I'm listening to

Live music is the bomb! And for party party, I did say I like to dance funny up above... :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Surviving Cerebral Malaria would have to be one of the most intense travel experiences Ive had to date. I wouldn't recommend it, but its made me a stronger person and altered the way I deal with life.

Diving with Hammer Head & Black Tip sharks (no cage) in South Africa. I love these animals and have a huge respect for them. Amazing to see them in their own environment. Spellbinding!

Teach/Share: Juggling, Snowboarding, wicked chocolate pudding,
Kitesurfing: I can get you addicted!

Learning: Skydiving
To Learn: Slacklining

On the easier things: play w a diablo, improve my photography and ride a unicycle..
