About Me

Visiting: Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain

Dec 2 - Dec 6 (4 nights)
2 travelers
Hola! :)
Vamos a Barcelona la semana que viene con mi mejor amiga, y nos gustaría conocer un poco la ciudad a través de los ojos de uno de sus habitantes!
Y si además puedes alojarnos para un día o unos días, sería fenomenal! Prometo cocinar! :)
Hasta pronto a lo mejor!

ABOUT ME

I guess like everybody on couchsurfing, I love travelling! I often travel in Europe and I would like to travel more and more!
When I'm in a different country, I always think of 'eating locally'!
I lived in England and in Australia, now I just moved to Spain, Zaragoza, and I'd love to meet new people! :-)

PHILOSOPHY

I try to live a life in an open and friendly way.
Smiling is important to me! :) :) :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

One in Italy which was great and in England too -my hosts were wonderful!

Interests

I really enjoy spending time with friends and family (around a good dinner?) and I love meeting new people! I love listening to others' experiences!

I like sun-kissed fruits from the South, old tiles and old stones, jolly smiles, people-watching, and going to a handcrafted chocolate shop to get one chocolate which I eat while wandering around a new city.

Music, Movies, and Books

I've been reading The Catcher in the Rye, Leonard Cohen's Favorite Game recently -loved it! I saw Far away from Men last week, adapted from one of Camus' short novels and Midnight Special (Jeff Nichols) -captivating!
I'm a bit into old French rap music at the moment, travel blogs, ecological awareness and brushing up my Spanish.

I love those French guys who travel across Europe:

(Nus et culottés). This one as well:

(J'irai dormir chez vous).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sleeping in an empty and removed national park in Australia and being awaken at 5am by hopping kangaroos around my tent.
Diving in the Great Barrier Reef, and abseiling in the Blue Mountains (Australia).

Teach, Learn, Share

Maybe I can teach a bit of French?
I can cook a good ratatouille (which is easy actually), une bonne soupe de légumes frais, crêpes or plenty of other (simple?) things.
When I go to someone's place, I like to cook for my hosts!!

I would love to learn a bit more about oenology maybe, but just hearing about others' experiences is great!

Australia, Belgium, China, Cyprus, England, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Scotland, Spain, Wales
