After many life changing events in my late 40's I decided it was time to pack up the baggage and put it in storage. Forgiving past hurts is very liberating.

Always curious about people and still have a sense of wonder about the world.

Single, a BBW, non-judgemental, sometimes dry, other times silly, like to make people laugh.

After joining in 2006 I lurked around the perimeters of the site. I'm finally in a position to be an active member.

Music, Movies, and Books

With the exception of country music, I listen to everything and enjoy most. My radio is tuned to WXPN and it is on most of the day.

Some of my favorite movies: "Fanny and Alexander", "The Uninvited", "To Sir With Love".

My mother would yell at me every weekend because my nose was always in a book and my chores were left undone. A constant reader and a word nerd. Some of my favorite authors are Bill Bryson, Laurie Colwin and Barbara Holland.
