Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Plan more travels, improve our German, get a puppy, and enjoy every moment of this adventure!
ABOUT ME
We are easy going and laid back. We love to travel and explore! We enjoy anything outdoors, cold beers and warm summers. We love to laugh! Tim LOVES hockey and Courtney LOVES to bake. We really like meeting new people and experiencing new things-we're always up for an adventure!
Since moving to Berlin in 2011, we have had some great experiences, both while travelling and while settling into our new city. We are excited to share our experiences, meet new people and show them around! We can't wait for whatever adventure is next!
PHILOSOPHY
The more we explore the world around us, the more we are coming to appreciate the life we lead and the more we are discovering about ourselves.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We love couchsurfing for its ability to connect with like minded people, even if the only thing we have in common is a love of travel! We have couchsurfed before, are open to hosting, and are just starting to get involved in our local CS community!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far, we've just surfed once, but that one experience led us to meet some awesome people and we're super excited to meet some more!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Tim-Probably snowboarding at Whistler (BC, Canada). A friend and I spent the whole day on the mountain and took the gondola to Blackcomb. The views were incredible!
Courtney-One of the greatest thing I've ever done was climb to the top of a mountain in Jasper National Park (AB, Canada). Neither my friend nor I thought we would make it, but neither of us wanted to be the one to admit it, so instead, we reached the peak!
We've had a couple of amazing experiences together! It's currently a four-way tie between eating authentic Mexican enchiladas at a local market in Cozumel, kayaking beside sharks in Key West Florida, and watching the ball drop in Times Square on New Year's Eve. In Europe, we've been able to party at Oktoberfest, ski an Alpen glacier, learn the art of french pastry, watch real flamenco dancing, and more! There is so much in life to be amazed by!
Teach, Learn, Share
