About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Follow my dreams to wherever they take me.

ABOUT ME

If I could only say three things to describe myself they would be:
I'm confident, decisive and I strive to positively influence people.

I love thinking and introspection. If I commit to something I never give up.

Music is also an essential part of my life. It guides me through the best and the worst like almost nothing else does :)

I'm a people person. I strive to be with others, since that's what gives me energy.

I really value honesty, open-mindness, confidence, cheerfulness, intelligence and passion.

My goal in life is to follow my dreams and to influence others to follow their dreams too. That's why I like teaching and also why I've chosen psychology as my career. There is nothing more fulfilling than watching how someone you have influenced becomes great.

PHILOSOPHY

Three quotes define my philosophy:
· If you can change your mind, you can change your life.
· The path of least resistance is not always the path to your dreams.
· Aim to climb as high as you can dream.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

An old friend hosted some people via couchsurfing. I loved the experience and that's why I created my profile.

Interests

I'm interested in a lot, but I usually focus in one or two things at a time since I need some kind of closure in anything I do.

My interests have changed over time, but they always revolve around psychology, philosophy, teaching, music, learning and competitive videogames.

Sports:
Electronic sports, long distance inline speed skating, urban skating.

TV:
I love Craig Ferguson, but I don't watch TV.

About Linux:
I like to consider myself a linux poweruser. I know enough about linux to fully customize my own selection of software and don't miss anything. I'm not an expert (linux is vast) but I do my best.

The software philosophy behind linux, free software and open source is pretty awesome in my opinion.

I'm a huge fan of archlinux and my computer runs a customized openbox desktop.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
I started playing violin when I was 3 years old. Since then I have been into music my whole life. I love almost any kind of music and I've listened to more than 4h of music everyday since I can barely remember.

Music was my life until I was 18. Then I discovered electronic sports and psychology, and music became my heart while psychology and electronic sports became my mind.

Movies:
Hook, The Goonies, Indiana Jones, Back to the Future, Blade Runner, Akira, Princess Bride, Labyrinth, Big Fish, almost any film from Tim Burton and movies based on comics. I love thought inspiring movies, those that make you question your own values and ideas.

Books:
The Neverending Story, Darksword, The Dark Tower (series) and almost any book from Margaret Weis, Tracy Hickman and Jeff Grubb.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I started to play violin when I was 3 years old.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach:
I love electronic sports, skating and languages (electronic sports the most of them). If you are interested in any of this, I will be much more than glad to help you out.

I really want to learn to teach spanish, so if you want me to teach you some spanish I will do my best on it.

If you bring your own skates we can go to skate over the city as much as you want.

If you want to learn what is that strange thing called eSports I could spend weeks or months talking about it, so dont hesitate to ask me about it.

If you like to know about linux I can teach you anything I know about it too. I think that almost everyone would like linux if they knew about it's benefits.

Learn:
I would love to learn japanese, korean and norwegian. I also like to learn about the cultures of different countries.
And I'm always interested in learning to teach better, so if you think you can teach me about it, I would really like it.
