I like to think of myself as a simple and straightforward person. Enjoying my time wherever I am. I was told I am incurable optimist.

PHILOSOPHY

I guess most important for me is to be able to let go and not take too many things too seriously. Have a distance to yourself and others. Love little things around you.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosting if possible - due to working schedules and travels it is hard for me to find time to show around. Share a meal and wine is an option too!

I really like to travel. I read a lot. I love my friends and talking with them. I love music, movies. I enjoy cooking, for me another way to share what you have with others. Nature is another of my interests.

Music: I come from Rock background as a teenager - so tom waits, the mars volta, thievery corporation, , mr. bungle, nin, fnm einsturzende neubauten, nick cave - also I like gypsy or klezmer music from time to time; I love classics - billy holiday, ella fitzgerald and nina simone. ... Loads and really depends on the mood. Cannot imagine living without it.

Books: Vonnegut; Philip Dick; Kafka; Anthony Burgess; Charles Bukowski; I also like travel and history books, mythologies

Movies: Emir Kustorica, Wes Anderson, Cohen brothers, David Lynch, Tarantino.. few more directors and movies... Recently I enjoy watching stuff made in 40-60ties!
