About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To be the person my dog thinks I am.

ABOUT ME

I am a normal female human, not more or less - means I have all goods and bads we normally have (^__^), open-minded and independent.

I have big passion in sustainability! I am a believer, advocate, and practitioner of making this world better through environmental and social concerns.

Surfing or hosting, I like to enjoy time with my hosts or surfers. Capable of self-sufficient, but I also love to share conversation, good time, and activities with them believing that CS is not a place to find just free accommodation. I enjoy learning different cultures, sharing different thoughts and experiences.

I like "slow travel”, which to me means I slowly deeply learn to know the place I visit inside and out (as much as time can allow).
And sometime I may curl in a couch for whole day HAHA.

I love when meeting with new ppl and then the friendship last. I hope we have that chance too :)

PHILOSOPHY

Find a way to light a candle instead of sitting there and keep complain that it's dark.

"A wound is where the light gets into you"
======================================================
"Not Christian or Jew or Muslim, not Hindu, Buddhist, sufi, or zen.
Not any religion or cultural system.
I am not from the East or the West, not out of the ocean or up from the ground, not natural or ethereal, not composed of elements at all.
I do not exist,am not an entity in this world or the next, did not descend from Adam or Eve or any
origin story.
My place is place-less, a trace of the traceless. Neither body or soul.
I belong to the beloved, have seen the two worlds as one and that one call to and know,
...first, last, outer, inner, only that breath breathing human being."

Mevlana Rumi (1207 - 1273)

When we see evil, we don't have to welcome evil.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was introduced to CS by a friend...and I find it interesting community here :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far, I have many good friends out of this CS community ^_^

Interests

Reading, swimming, psychology, traveling, sustainability...

Though I'm a Buddhism, I am also interested in Sufism, Zen, and any others which are close to "the journey within".

Beside traveling the world, I find exploring the universe within our own mind is quite interesting too.
But don't get me wrong... I'm not a creepy psycho woman :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: Child 44, Kay Scarpetta Series, Untouchable, the Niles and books by Tom Rob Smith, Patricia Cornwell, Chelsea Cain, Tess Gerritsen ... and many more.

Music: all are beautiful. Jazz, blues, rock, pop, classical vocal, reggae, disco, Latin. I'm trying to cope with rap and hip hop but it seems doesn't work well at the moment.
Lorde
Concha BUIKA
Zucchero
Cheb Mami
Michel Teló
Herbert von Karajan, my favorite conductor ever!
Fabio Concato
Luciano Pavarotti

Movie: Too many to write down. Thriller, action, some drama, Scifi. BUT..I DO NOT watch any movie involving animals .. anything which shows how selfish human are to animal, animal get hurt, lonely animal (Free Willy, Lassie, King Kong, Godzilla, Mighty Joe Young, Planet of the Apes, etc...hha ah NO!)
