I am in search of experiences that will broaden my views and clean out the cobwebs of my thinking. I am looking forward to the possibilities of building a global community and creating new international relationships.

I love life, nature, the universe and the people who populate it. I love learning new things. I am most excited about this travel opportunity to lavish my senses with newness. I am interested in plants, animals and geology (I hear there is the most amazing fire opal in Australia. I love learning about the stars and constellations and am crazy about the arts. I believe that our most precious resource is our children.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I believe we get out of life and experiences what we are willing to put into them. I want to participate in peoples lives and make family and friends out of strangers. I want to contribute to the places I am staying and if you are teaching me something new in the process even better. I can cook, am pretty handy with technology, and kids typically enjoy me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None yet, but I am most excited to report on my first one. I have spent the last 10 years driven in my career. Now I get the chance to put that aside for a year and live my life in a whole new way.

Interests

I am interested in the outdoors and in hiking, exploring rivers, kayaking swimming, camping and watching the stars, I love art and I have tried my hand at painting, pottery, basket weaving, flame work and a variety of other media.I am interested in subjects of spirituality religions and mythologizes and love to read and listen to music. I am interested in meeting new people and learning about the people who inhibit the many places of the earth.
