About Me
Hope all is so beautiful in your world!
My name is Christopher Ponzi and I'm Los Angeles, California. I have been traveling for the past 7+ months in Asia (6 months and 5 countries) and now Europe (1+ month and 3 countries) on a journey to immerse myself and understand nature, poetry, spirituality and meditation more deeply, and how they are intertwined within all things, myself included, and gain more skills in ecology, eco-building, farming, permaculture, meditation and mindfulness. Thus I have been practicing meditation and living and listening to the great wisdom of nature all over these countries, from a jungle monastery in Myanmar to the remote valleys of the Himalayas, a farm in India to the forests of France, and lots of places and beautiful people in between.
I am 30, speak excellent Spanish, though not 100%, and am just starting to learn Italian (excited to learn more). I am a poet and writer (www.ponzidream.co), lover of nature and animals, books, authentic people . . . and travel, obviously.
Besides that, I am very curious and just love to authentically connect with people as deeply as possible and hear their stories and wisdom.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've been a proud member of the couch-surfing community for over 5 years now! I did most of my couch surfing on my last big journey in South America almost 4 years ago, and haven't done much since or in Asia/Europe (at least not formally), so excited to meet!
Why am I on it? Because traveling is all about really connecting with people as fellow human beings from all over the world, so that we can realize we have always been connected from the start.
