About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Visit 50 different countries in my lifetime... currently at about 12.

ABOUT ME

I think I am very firstly very reliable, organised, and kind. I am also very friendly and willing to help anyone in need. I am a safe and sensible person to be around with a huge passion for travel and a good sense of humour!

PHILOSOPHY

I think of life as extremely precious but also very short- I think we should never stress or worry about anything, what will be will be and its how we deal with things that matter. I try to enjoy every day and live for the moment because we are not on this earth for very long!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Haven't really done anything on this site as I've only recently joined but more than happy to help anyone who is coming to Birmingham! Can't offer a couch at the moment but can certainly offer help/tour info or advice!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Nothing yet :)

Interests

Anything to do with nature/travel I am fascinated by. I love the world. I study Environmental Science (Geography orientated) at University of Birmingham, UK. I spend my spare time when not studying or working, thinking about and organising new places to visit! There are also so many places in the UK I'd still like to see. I like to combine my interest in travel with other interests of mine; hiking/walking, biking, trying new food cultures etc. I also love football and support Birmingham City

Music, Movies, and Books

Currently having to read a lot of 'academic text' for University but otherwise I like to read travel writings/guides, cookery books (don't really count I know!) and I am currently reading a book by Curt Stager called the Future of the Earth.

Like comedy films and also serious ones, recently seen 21 Jump St and the Hunger games.

Music is quite varied, chart stuff to rock! Anything with some good beats and rhythm lol

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Iceland was truly incredible, likewise the Faroe Islands which have very little coverage! Watching the sun set on a huge hill near our base hut in Iceland has to have been my most inspiring moment, there are probably many other 'better' ones but I can't think at the moment!

Teach, Learn, Share

I know quite a bit about the Faroe Islands if anyone is going there?! Doing my Dissertation there for my degree and also visited there once. :)

Countries I’ve Visited

Cyprus, Faroe Islands, France, Iceland, Ireland, Spain, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

United Kingdom
