ABOUT ME

i'm a bartender by trade, which translates loosely to "i'm pretty easy going, like to have a good time and can hold up my end of a conversation". i love to travel, and i'm trying to do that more and more.
i obsess over things like record collections, movie quotes and books in book form.

PHILOSOPHY

work hard, play hard doesn't quite cover it. i think its important to enjoy yr work, but more important to aspire to something more.
i believe that while sometimes the truth hurts, deception will always sting more.
i believe that we should live first and foremost for ourselves, but that we should respect and find inspiration in others.

i'm pretty new to this, but i always love showing people around minneapolis. i love this city, and i think you will too.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

none of my own yet, but i found out about this community through a really cool kid who was couchsurfing a few miles from my place and it sounded like a brilliant idea. so kudos to all of you.

Interests

the idea that a book is travel for yr brain, rock and/or roll, film, new experiences vs old favorites, photography at strange angles, cats, drinks (particularily anything that i cant try here in minnesota).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

the most amazing things to me are the places i've been and the people i've met. from the mountains of northern montana, to small towns in iowa.
