ABOUT ME

I decided after getting laid off from a successful telecommunications career, I would travel rather than find another job. I was brought up traveling, first within my home state of California and slowly moving beyond my own borders. I visited Europe for the first time in 2003 and have been addicted ever since. I love trying new food, new drinks, and learning about history but my favorite part about traveling is meeting new people and learning about new cultures.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At this point I'll be traveling and wouldn't be able to host but hopefully after a few months I'll settle down and share with new friends all of the local sights of wherever I end up.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have no experience with couch surfing but my close friend lives in Madrid and swears by this site. It's a great way to meet new people and I know her experiences have led to many new friendships and adventures.

Any movie by Christopher Guest is a good one.
My musical taste includes pretty much everything but I haven't yet developed an appreciation for opera.
I read mostly historical novels and non-fiction books about relevant current events. And Mad Magazine.
