ABOUT ME

I'm Corrie. I came to England to teach but mainly to travel since travelling from Canada is bankrupting! I loved the excitement of setting myself up somewhere new so this won't be the last time I uproot myself. While travelling the top 3 things I like to experience are the gastronomy obviously, the nightlife and live cultural music.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far just surfed once but it was fantastic and I plan to CS the wooorld. It makes a visit so much more fulfilling experiencing it with locals. Couchsurfers were also my first group of friends in the UK, there's something that binds people who love to travel.

Interests

Live music, whitewater kayaking, playing and watching hockey (I gave football a fair chance, it's just not my thing), wandering with no agenda, nights out with drinks and dancing, cooking

Music, Movies, and Books

I find it too hard to narrow down my favourites or even a genre. I listen to everything from indie and folk rock to dance beats to country..Many of my favourites are Canadian rock bands that the rest of world has probably never heard of, but should!
Movies I can watch again and again are Dazed and Confused and Forest Gump
