ABOUT ME

After the past five years studying and working in Boston, I'm now on a European sojourn. I'm trying to cultivate new interests, discover fresh horizons, and seek new inspirations. To undertake this simultaneously exciting and daunting task, over the next few months, I will between India, Austria, Germany, the UK.

I spend much time thinking, learning, and trying to write about social and economic change, international development, and human rights. A recent project that I will be working on in Germany, befitting my wanderlust and cosmopolitan predilections, focuses on immigrants in Europe.

As I'm in transition at the moment, I can't offer a couch unfortunately. I can, however, offer provide for good company and conversation. I am living in Bremen these days and interested in meeting other folks who know the city, or even others who are new.

The simple pleasures of life: good food, books, conversation.

Intellectual dilettantism: social theory, feminism, philosophy, politics, empirical social science, demography, literature.

Traveling, cooking different types of vegetarian food, finding new museums and libraries, and discovering grammatical patterns in new languages.
