I enjoy hosting others, sharing life stories, and meeting new friends.

兴趣

I love all sentient beings and want to do what I can to make the earth a more pleasant and beautiful place to be. I enjoy poetry, music, my cats, skating, and trying new things as long as they are cruelty free. I am very sensitive to the world around me yet I can take almost anything thrown my way.

My favorite movies are as follows: Until the End of the World, The city of Lost Children, The Princess Bride, The Fisher King, and Sabrina (Hepburn and Bogart).

I have lots of favorite books, too many to list but as a writer I love having Roget at my side. I am currently reading Computing With Quantum Cats.

I teach high school and middle school English Language Arts, I love poetry and Science Fiction.

I can teach you 'Upside down Kitty.' I can write almost anything. I can make popcorn in a wok. I am working on making vegan gluten free pizza as I just got an oven and I am more than willing to take guests on tours around Beijing. I recently moved here from Shanghai so it might be a new adventure for me too!

I would love to teach any host simple poetry skills, and more difficult if they are intrigued. I can teach compassion, and have taught NVC to students, so we can share a dialogue on the best techniques for non-violent communication.
