About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Living, loving and exploring to the fullest. :)

ABOUT ME

I love to get excited about things. As long as I'm surrounded by nature and good people, life is good for me. I love having fun. I'm quirky, open-minded and an all around happy person. I love the ocean, hiking, being with friends (old and new!), sleeping in tents, laughing and travelling.

PHILOSOPHY

Challenge yourself everyday and never waste an opportunity to help others or yourself acheive there dreams.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

After celebrating my 23rd birthday several weeks ago I realized how much I want to do and see in my life. I figured I better get started and I thought what's a better way to usher in those new experiences than with the CS family, right?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm new to CS, but I can't wait to find out what awaits me on the next couch!

Interests

I'm pretty much interested in everything, but to name a few: writing, photography, jewelry-making and wire wrapping, poi - especially with fire, hula hooping, dancing, swimming, making new friends and keeping old ones, loving and laughing.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love books. Reading is how I escape and travel to distant lands - sometimes even distant planets - when I'm stuck at home. I've read hundreds and loved them all. My last few conquests were Terry Prachet's "The Color of Magic," Peal S. Buck's "The Good Earth" and right now I'm reading "The Tibetan Book of Living and Dying."
I'm horrible at watching movies and I tend to forget them as soon as the ending credits start to roll so I'll just skip this one, baby.
As for music, I couldn't even get through this web page without it. As with most other things in my life, my tastes are quite eclectic. I was raised on the 60s and 70s classic rock and roots reggae, influenced by 90's grunge and can definitely get down to the bass-heavy womps infiltrating the college dance scene. I've been to hundreds of concerts and festivals in my life from Phish to Bela Fleck to Tool to Herbie Hancock. I love it all. I've been known to mess around on few instruments myself.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been really lucky in my life thus far and have met some really great friends and had some incredible adventures, but if I had to pick... Travelling to Spain to study abroad was one really amainzing experience but it was also really scary to leave my small town on my own. Lived a lot and learned a lot out there.

Teach, Learn, Share

We can probably all agree that keeping an open mind is the best way to teach, learn and share. You never know what might meet you around the next bend and there is no way to tell how anything or anyone might impact you.
