About Me

CURRENT MISSION

planning my next journey

ABOUT ME

Funny, sarcastic, optimistic, honest, rational, smart and modest of course :) Seriously addicted to coffee. Beginner but devoted salsa (cuban) and bachata dancer. :) In love with Latin America since my trip to Central America. Always dreaming about my next journey.

PHILOSOPHY

always be honest to yourself and to others

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted several times and been guided and both were a great experience convincing me that it was a good idea to sign up to CS. I can't wait to have more of it.

Interests

traveling, what else? :) meeting new people from other countries, learning languages, music, dancing, hanging out with my friends who are almost family to me, tasting wines and good food

Music, Movies, and Books

movies: Ferzan Özpetek, Fatih Akin, Alejandro González Iñárritu and Pedro Almodovar movies and anything in which Vincent Cassel and Gael Garcia Bernal are involved :)books: novels by Ludmila Ulitskaya, Elif Shafak, Gabriel García Marquez and many moremusic: I used to be a rock chicken in my teenage years and I'm still in my heart :) nowadays, but as a (more or less) grown-up, I'm open to all kinds of music from all around the world except electronic music that I truly hate

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are several:
crawling into a muddy cave full of bats in Nicaragua, at the Masaya volcano
dancing until the morning at a Mexican-Hungarian wedding in Mexico
learning some Spanish slang from 3 countries (Mexico, Cuba, Colombia) - can you find out what 'una serpiente bien elastica' means? :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I've already learnt seven languages in my life (English, Spanish, German, French, Russian, Italian and Hebrew), but I only speak two: English and some Spanish - shame on me -, so I'd like to improve the rest. I can teach you some Hungarian in return.

Countries I’ve Visited

Albania, Austria, Belgium, Costa Rica, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Gibraltar, Greece, Guatemala, Italy, Jordan, Mexico, Montenegro, Morocco, Netherlands, Nicaragua, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Turkey, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In
