ABOUT ME

I'm a bookworm. Happily living among the roughly 500 books that I have now. My collection of course is still growing.
A university student, currently working on the thesis for my English major (my topic is the 'Filis and Bards in Early Medieval Ireland').
A vampire! Actually it's a joke, when it was discovered that I have iron deficiency anaemia the doc said that my iron level is so low, that I practically don't have blood. Hence the conclusion of both friend and family: if you need blood than you're a vampire! My health is much better now, but I have to keep a diet rich in iron. So I eat chocolate and drink red wine, among other things :)

I'm still a newbie. Hope to be an active member.

Stories. Not really concerned with the medium, just the content. So I have dvds and books, and also manga on my shelves. And I like to listen to other people talking.
Taking photos of: Sunsets (regularly, as my room's window faces west), halos and rainbows (when i'm lucky enough to catch them), fireworks (when I have the chance to see them, latest was August 12, 2011.)
Being creative: eg making small roses of Fimo, decoupage (this ties into my hobby of collecting paper napkins)
Languages: the connection between language and culture, and between languages.

Movie: Last movie I've seen and really liked was 'Inception'. 'How to Train Your Dragon' was also very good (I love dragons).
Music: I like Irish and Celtic music (eg. James Galway, Enya, Loreena McKennitt.) Have all the cds of Akosh (famous Hungarian singer). And I like several other singers, too many to list.
Books: fantasy, scifi and romance (mainly, but if the story is good other genres are also welcome).
