About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To bicycle to Brazil and meet the gods along the way.

ABOUT ME

I'm a philosopher, traveling to test out my ideas. I believe that nature is beautiful, human beings can do amazing things, and travel is a spiritual practice. I believe we each have a purpose and we should go out and chase that purpose down, pursue it relentlessly and enjoy every minute of it.

PHILOSOPHY

Love it the first time. Heaven may be a dream.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm traveling from the United States to Brazil, powered entirely by my own muscles. Right now I'm biking but I could switch to hiking or even a sea kayak. Couchsurfing has been an amazing resource and a source of safe places to stay along my route. I really treasure the friends I meet along the way and the chance to have an occasional refuge and some local knowledge about the places I travel through.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had wonderful experiences staying with friends-of-friends in Ireland, Mexico and around the US. My first official couchsurfing experience was in New Orleans and it was a blast. I enjoy being a good guest, making myself useful & meeting new friends.

How to meditate to exercise your mind & build awareness
How to make money online
How to write a story that could actually be published
How to survive in the wilderness

I would like to learn:
A new skill every day! Whatever you can teach interests me. (Sailing and piloting a boat are high on my list...)
