About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Why.. To make the world a better place, of course!

ABOUT ME

My background is half Canadian, half Burkinabe and I've kind of grown up all over the place so travelling is in my blood! I love discovering new places, new people, new points of view etc..

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life because I believe that I have the capacity to do some good and to share all the great things that life has given me with as many people as possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've done some hosting, I've done some surfing. I've had varying degrees of awesomeness associated with both.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had nothing but amazing experiences through couchsurfing, although they were really vastly different one from the other. It's allowed me to meet people that I otherwise really would never have, and I'm really glad that I did. I've also hosted a few people and love showing my city off when I have time!

Interests

I enjoy dancing (specifically salsa dancing but any dancing will do!), cooking, learning about new cultures, learning new languages, learning things in general...

Music, Movies, and Books

My music tastes range across genres and languages so they'd be tough to list. Top of the list would be 90s French rap (Doc Gyneco, MC Solaar...), salsa romantica (March Anthony, Gilberto Santa Rosa...), bachata, kizomba. I'm a big fan of biographies and realistic historical fiction for books. Unfortunately, not a huge fan of movies generally but I'll definitely watch one once in a while.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Haha the list is too long to fit into this box! But I will say that most of the time, it was more about the people that I was with when I saw/did these amazing things rather than the things themselves.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have taught a salsa class or two! I cook pretty decently so I guess I could teach that as well (vegetarian only though!). I'm a chemist too, and I know a bunch about health so feel free to ask!

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Belgium, Cambodia, Cameroon, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Côte d'Ivoire, Dominican Republic, France, Germany, Malaysia, Mexico, Mozambique, Myanmar, Netherlands, Nicaragua, Senegal, Switzerland, Thailand

Countries I’ve Lived In
