Sobre mí

CURRENT MISSION

Traveling Australia.

ABOUT ME

I think it would be impossible for me to write everything about me inside of this square. First of all because I am nowhere near finding out everything about myself. I find out new things everyday, it is one of my main reasons to keep on living. Here are some of the things I've found out so far.

- I see myself as a brave person, there aren't many things that scare me, and I seldom find myself controlled by fear. Some things that I do fear in life: Ferrets, old meat, being alone, being responsible for another persons death, becoming blind, things under the skin.

- I love beautiful things. That does not apply to stuff such as jewellery or fancy cars. It applies to things such as sunrises, experimental instrumental music, mountains, stuff knitted in wool, old strong people, light strands, harbours, kittens, books, clean sheets.

- I've always loved the sea. I've always lived near the sea. It simply makes me calm, like the world is not as big as it seems, like I can breath. One of my favourite occupations in life is staring at a graygreen sea a cloudy day with wind in my hair covered in stuff knitted in wool. I think if I had to choose one occupation to do for the rest of my life that would be it.

- I've planned more for my life as an old person (counting 65 and up) than I have for my life as an adult. Sometimes I catch myself thinking that the time from now up until the day that I'm turning 65 is just a wait.

- I love cows

- I love women

- I'm a writer, mostly fiction. A very humble one, not one of those tormented and pretentious ones. But it still defines me more than I think, I believe.

- I have a hard time learning languages. But I try.

- I never want to know what I want to become in my life

- I have a weird and inexplicable fascination for wind turbines

- I don't like ketchup

PHILOSOPHY

If I knew why I lived my life I'd lock myself inside a cabin somewhere and just sit on that knowledge for the rest of my life.
I want to feel things. That's all I know.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I'm traveling and would love to be hosted by these generous wonderful people in this great initiative.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My experience with couch surfing is that everyone I've met related to this website has been awesome. Regardless if I've hosted people, met couchsurfers at friends houses or surfed with people. So really just all thumbs up.

Intereses

Oh wow. Anything except boring things. Things that are not boring (and therefore interesting): Photography, politics, gender studies, cookies, new countries, different kinds of tobacco, good books, good movies (really anything entertaining with the word good in front of it), apple-products, dreads (and the people underneath them), knitting, cooking, writing, feminism, people who know stuff (nerds). etc etc etc.

Música, películas y libros

I will fill this space someday when I have a ridiculous amount of time to spend.

Algo increíble que he hecho

When I was in silence for a week in a monastery in France. Me and three other girls slept under the stars in the garden and I woke up with the sunrise in my face.

Also when I ate the perfect mango.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I can't really think of something specific that I could teach. Things I can do: Knit (not hardcore super-advanced stuff but I know the basics and I love doing it), bake cinnamon-buns, speak swedish, cook a little bit (also one of those things I'm not super-good at but love doing). I can't think of more things, which is depressing. But I'm sure I have more in my backpack than I think I do.

I love to learn. That mostly does not apply to touchable things, but more to learning from people, from their experiences and opinions. I love to discuss important things, and not important things. I believe we can all learn endless things from just being around people we like.
I'd love to learn more about coffee, wine and Indian food though! haha
