About Me

I am a teacher, I teach highschool kids. It is fun to see teenagers grow up and help them navigate through one of the most interesting phases of their life.

I am a father. In 2020 our son Bob was born.

I am a husband. In march 2023 I married Ilona, the love of my live.

In 2018 we were traveling 9 months through the USA and Australia. A lot to explore. We surfed a lot (yes, waves😃) read a lot, drove a lot and played the guitar often Maybe the best time in my life!

I like to meet my friends to have fun together. I enjoy good food, good drinks and good laugh and good music.

I grew up in a big family and am used to living with other people and consider my self as respectful, helpful and tidy.

We live outside the City now. (about 20 minutes with Bus/Train/Car) In a beautiful House with a big garden/backyard.

One of my biggest passions is music, as a musician and as a listener.
I used to play in Hardcore Bands. Unfortunately, I had to quit there. At the moment, I only take out my guitar here and then and I try to learn the Piano.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I surfed through the United States. From San Francisco to Miami, only couchsurfing with a few exceptions. Now I live in a small apartment with my beautiful girlfriend Ilona and we started to host CS People from all over the world.
I tried out all advantages of CS like rideshares. I love to see what's going on in the different groups and I met Interesting people for a coffe or beer. The most interesting part on CS is to meet a friend/friends in a city you don't know. And this is amazing.

How I mentioned, I live together with Ilona and Bob.

!!!If you really wanna stay at our place, you really should include them in your request, too!!!

And If I don't know you, don't hit me up at the same day you plan to arrive. At least 24h before should be possible. If it is really an Emergency, hit me up. But if you are just too late, check in in an hotel.

I surfed a couple of couches and had fun with all of them. I met people for drinks, and took rides over ridesharing groups, hosted People, showed them around in Bern, discovered new stuff in my own city. Just great...
