About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Get a haircut.

ABOUT ME

I'm from Halifax, on east coast of Canada. I've been living here pretty much my whole life, except for the few times I've had a chance to escape. Playing music with other people is my passion in life. I am mostly a bass player, but recently have become interested in instruments that go shicka shicka or clicckidy clap. I like to laugh, and be geeky and play chess. I'm learning to get over my fear of stickers. I like to learn more about arts, nature and language. Too much political discussion is like too much sugar... energetic at first but after about an hour or two I need a nap. I am a cat person, but I can chill with my dogs too. And I'm a sucker for some good yerba mate.

PHILOSOPHY

-2+2=5
-Breath in the good air, breath out the bad air
-I am not an emcee because the Rza said so
-Rick Simpson is a fucking hero
-Improvise!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Couchsurf and have conversations over beers, coffee, delicious food, amazing scenery or any combo of these. I believe taking part in this kind of travel is one way to make the world a friendlier and more accepting place.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couch surfed many times in Canada without ever using this website. Also, I used the website with great success in Argentina, Chile, Peru, and Canada (mostly Quebec). I have met so many great people since I joined!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitch hiked from British Columbia to Nova Scotia with 20 dollars in my pocket in 9 days.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to play music and would love to have a little jam if there are instruments around. I am also interested in yoga, fitness, martial arts, movies, agriculture/permaculture and food. So anywhere that I can share or learn about these things is a true blessing to me.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have plenty of funny/weird/dangerous stories from my travels that we can share a good laugh over. Also if you need some corrections on a yoga pose I am a yoga instructor and like to share knowledge with people about this subject.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Australia, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, India, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Mexico, Morocco, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, Spain, Thailand

Countries I’ve Lived In
