About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Exploring the world whenever I get the free time.

ABOUT ME

Life loving guy that is always looking to meet new friends. I like sports, movies, going out to dinners with my friends... just hanging out and laughing. Whatever I'm doing, I want to be laughing. :)

PHILOSOPHY

Live, Laugh, Love. That's life. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've crashed on a few couches, but I'm all pretty new to CouchSurfing. I've had nothing but positive experiences so far and am looking forward to many more. I have a couch and a spare bedroom and have one guy stay with me so far for a couple of nights. It turned out great, we hung out the entire time he was here because we clicked so well and my schedule happened to allow it. I'm not home a lot so it really just depends on the day as to if I can host or not.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A few. Some in College Station for Aggie games. Also I recently did a road trip across the SW US and surfed all along the way. It was a great way to travel and an awesome way to learn about the cities you are staying in. Locals know the best things to do. Looking forward to creating a whole bunch more CouchSurfing memories.

Interests

Sports (Baseball the most, then college football, followed by in no particular order... NFL, Soccer, Basketball, Hockey, ALL college sports, softball and ANYTHING Olympic.) Going to movies, spending time with friends, EATING OUT, A LOT!, having a drink or two with friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

Too many to name but I'll chart my top in each category...

Movies: The American President, Inglourious Basterds, American Beauty, Christopher Nolan's Batman Trilogy, Avatar, I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell

Music: Almost anything. From Country to Rap to Techno to Pop to Hip Hop, I love it all! Music is transcending to me. Kenny Chesney, Eminem, Carrie Underwood, Kaskade, Lady Gaga, Above & Beyond, Coldplay, Sam Smith, Kanye West, Adele, deadmau5

Books: The Alchemist, A Song of Ice and Fire Series (Game of Thrones), The Art of Racing in the Rain, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime, The Time Traveler's Wife, Harry Potter Series, The Hunger Games Series, The Millennium Trilogy

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am very fortunate that I have a lot of these memories to choose from, however I'll go with sitting at a restaurant in The Grand Place in Brussels killing two bottles of wine with my best friend during my first trip to Europe. It'll always stand out as one of the best moments in my life.

So excited to get to add my amazing drive through the Rio Grande National Forest to this list. Truly one of the most amazing and beautiful things I've EVER seen! Can't wait to camp there one day!

Teach, Learn, Share

Don't forget your pillow, blankets and a towel. Not necessary for someone staying with me but I like to bring those things just in case when I stay elsewhere.

Bring something for your host, I find that beer/wine/alcohol are always a good thing to show your appreciation. If you can't do that, make sure to leave a nice note or something. ;)
