Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Surprisingly enough, I host and surf. I also believe that Couchsufing is not only about finding a free place to stay but about getting to know people you have something in common and may become friends with.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted 2 people in Joplin, Missouri. My surfing experience isn't too vast, either: I've stayed at someone's place in Kansas City in autumn 2011, I surfed in Memphis TN in spring 2012 and in Boston MA in June 2012. My stay in Boston was little less than a miracle: thanks to it I got a real life-long friend and then a fantastic job that changed all my life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hmmm... It's very easy to amaze me, basically anything can do that, so I don't think my most amazing experiences would amaze many other people here:) Anyway, I could name watching (and illegaly catching) alligators at night in Louisiana, saving a baby turtle in Puerto Rico and unexpectedly getting to set up a booth and sell my paintings at an Art Festival in Kansas City.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach languages (Russian, English, Spanish, German, Catalan) or psychology and psychoanalysis. I can also teach swimming and snorkeling. I know something about classial singing, too. I'd love someone to teach me how to paint and draw or take really good photos or play the guitar or print money.
