About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Live in the Bay Area and LOVE IT!
ABOUT ME
Basically I am a nice, friendly girl who will make pleasant conversation with you about anything at all, and if we get to know each other better, you will find that I am quite outgoing, love a friendly and respectful debate, am sometimes loud, I laugh a lot, and generally very positive about life, meeting new people, and going out and doing fun things. I love adventures and some could say I have a pretty rebellious nature. My background is that I am half-Korean, half-American, have lived in both the U.S. and Korea, have traveled to Germany, Spain, Peru, Bolivia, and Brasil. I am a 'city girl' at heart, love the hustle and bustle and anonymity of a huge city, but some new experience traveling recently have taught me to appreciate rural life and also enjoying nature and the outdoors!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I kind of informally participate in CS. If there is a local event that catches my eye, I will show up to it and make some new friends, maybe host a traveler I meet there. Sometimes if the mood strikes me, I invite someone to stay on my couch. I like the no strings attached approach.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Started couchsurfing for the first time in my trip to South America in 2012. I have only had positive experiences... I couchsurfed a few nights in Trujillo, Peru and Cusco, Peru and met great hosts and other CS members. In Salvador de Bahia, Brazil, the CS community really came through for me... I had just lost all my clothes and so many girls offered to donate some clothes to me! Went to a great concert and visited a beach on an island with the Salvador CS group too. I made amazing new friends all over Brazil.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I traveled around Spain a lot, but my favorite day was when I was in Barcelona and I made it my 'official Antoni Gaudi' day. I went to see the Parque Guell, Casa Batllo, La Pedrera, and the Sagrada Familia! And I went to some other lesser known Gaudi architecture sites. It was one of the best and most beautiful days of my life! Oh yeah.. I also went to Macchu Pichu, Peru! No big deal... :)
