COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Who invites complete strangers into their home simply for the exchange of culture and experience?
Answer: Thee coolest, sweetest, craziest group of people you will ever meet!

I LOVE couchsurfing. Traveling to a foreign land is amazing in itself, but stepping into the home of a local and conversing with them is a completely different thing, and sadly not something enough people take the time to experience. When I think back on my travels, it is the experiences I shared with my couch surfing hosts that I reminiscence the most. Laying on the rooftop of my hosts' apartment in Morocco having deep conversations. Forcing my Belgian host to watch Mean Girls with me, then quoting the movie at every chance we got. Going to an underground punk show in Berlin with my German host who looked scary but was the goofiest guy I've ever met. I could go on and on, but the heart-sinking feeling of nostalgia is setting in.

Centres d'intérêt

Finding the romance in every experience. Seriously, I am a big ol' romanticist about everything. I am easily distracted by pretty sunsets and I think eating Chinese food while watching Netflix is just as much an experience as hiking through jungles in Thailand. It is all about circumstance and what sounds good in that moment.

Share: Stay with me and I'll show you how a foodie, beer drinkin, latte sippin, nature lovin, concert dancin girl gets down in Fresno. Or just crash out because you're exhuasted from hiking in Yosemite and just need to sleep before you leave for LA or SF the next day, which is really the reason you're in Fresno, right? haha

Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes

I am usually pretty busy with school and work, but if I have free time I can show you around Frenso, maybe go hiking with you, take you to a local music show, or meander through one of the local farmer's markets with you.
If you catch me at a busy time you are more than welcome to come and go as you please, lounge and watch movies, or just play with my cat.
