ABOUT ME

Hmmmm how to describe myself... it's a weird one! I like to think I am generally a happy person into lots of different things, some are one hit wonders, some make it beyond the honeymoon stage, but always have something new on the go. I love traveling, especially last minute road trips, making things, trying to hoola hoop, dancing, photography, drinking, music, running, imagining (have a great time in my own head!), exploring, roof tops, meeting new people, cheese (not cheesy pop, just pressed milk curds), reading, doing new things...um...not being overdrawn, long walks on the beach (hehe) etc! I spend my time doing some of these things with my awesome job squashed in between!

PHILOSOPHY

Live your life! It's not an original philosophy but it is the truest. You never know when it will be taken away so live with gratitude for all of your experiences, no matter how small, and push yourself to your uncomfortable limits, as that is where you will shine the most.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Having been to Burning Man twice and now planning the third trip, I have seen first hand the value in participation and paying forward whatever you can. After coming back from my last time there, I have been itching to do something to include some more of these principals into my life - so here I am!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Burning Man Festival. I am completely obsessed with the festival itself and the principals surrounding it. It has genuinely changed me as a person, and I would advise anyone who got the opportunity to take it and GO!
