Brahmachari from the Netherlands who settled down in the mountains of Southern India to learn meditation and vedanta.

After many years of traveling by bicycle I ended up in wonderful Wayanad, but when I'm not there I go around India by train to meet interesting people in one of this country's many magical, spiritual and hidden corners!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started surfing in the early days of my cycling journey and it has changed my life and the way I see the world. It's an amazing way to really get to know a country and the people living there. So far I stayed in farmhouses, holiday homes, roofs, attics, city center apartments, dentist rooms and in gardens. Each meeting is a new adventure and so far it has only been very positive!

Movies: Not much recently, but I was impressed by Amongst White Clouds, a documentary on Chinese zen monks living in the Zhongnan Mountains.
