Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Discovering my home soil.
ABOUT ME
I am a fun-loving, outdoor loving, smiley gal. I have been travelling on and off over the past few years as I try to work it in with my studies. Being from the West Coast of British Columbia, I am drawn to the sounds and smells of the salty ocean, something that may forever restrict my potential future homes. Next up for me is a bit of time in Central America, then an attempt to learn more about my home and surrounding areas of the BC backwoods.
PHILOSOPHY
To quote my great aunt,
"A smile is the longest word in the english language; as there is a mile between the s and the e".
Though it's a bit hokey, there is something to be said for a positive attitude and taking a chuckle at the many sillies of our day to day lives.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I began my couch surfing career while travelling through europe this winter. It was really something to arrive in an unknown city and know there is someone waiting to welcome you into their homes and their communities.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Whether it was sharing a beer, or some reindeer, or a swim in icy waters, or simply a warm place to sleep, couch surfing shared with us many a good time and positive experiences. It extended our network outwards and allowed us to truly experience the places we visited.
Interests
I enjoy friendly dinners, bbqs, beach days, hiking, cycling, sailing and heading backcountry. Adventures of many varieties!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The annual blossom of Vancouver's cherries as a city comes out of hibernation.
Teach, Learn, Share
Wherever I have been, I have met people who open up their homes and offer a window into the lives and culture of each individual place. It is a connection like no other to spend genuine time with complete strangers in such a passing way and it is one not to pass up.
